Proportional agreement method

Upload two observer session CSV exports from Countee. The tool compares intervals and downloads a combined IOA spreadsheet.

Privacy: Files are processed on the server only to generate your download and are not stored.

Download the CSV, then open it in Excel (double-click usually works).

Tips for reliable results

  • Use the same key names for both observers (names are case-sensitive).
  • If you edit exports, use a plain-text editor (Notepad, TextEdit). Avoid Excel for editing, which can corrupt CSV structure.
  • Avoid line breaks inside key descriptions; they can break parsing.

Excel: columns look wrong?

Don’t double-click the file. In Excel use Data → Get Data → From File → From Text/CSV (menu names vary slightly by version; older Excel may show From Text/CSV under Data). Pick your CSV, set Delimiter to Comma and File origin / encoding to UTF-8, then load.
